NHMA Discussion Groups on health care reform

The National Hispanic Medical Association (NHMA) has been invited to participate in the development of health care reform legislation for Senators Kennedy and Baucus, Congressmen Waxman, Rangel, and Miller and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus. We have been asked to submit our recommendations on reforming the system for inclusion into these bills by June 1st; this gives us a narrow window of three weeks or less to prepare a document for submission to congressional staff. I invite you and your colleagues to join the “NHMA Hispanic Provider Community Forum on Health Care Reform” on our portal: www.hispanichealth.info to share your insights and recommendations for health care reform today.
