<p>The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 has recently allocated $1.1 billion to comparative effectiveness research to provide new knowledge for more efficient health care delivery.</p>
<p>The goals of the briefing are: 1) to discuss priorities for comparative effectiveness research that can lead to reducing health disparities, and 2) to spotlight national organizations which include health disparities in their agendas to members of Congress and their staff.</p>
