REHDC
The Racial & Ethnic Health Disparities Coalition (REHDC) is a working group of Washington-based national and local organizations concerned about effectively addressing the health status gap in communities of color. REHDC's goal is to support and promote legislative, policy and budget initiatives that will increase the nation's effectiveness in closing the health status gap.

Health Disparities: Policies and Issues

Kaiser Family Foundation Welfare Reform and American Indian Tribes report states that TANF, scheduled to expire September of this year, provides cash assistance to poor families with children, including poor American Indian Families, and gives tribes the option to design and administer their own family assistance programs following approval of the plan by the Department of Health and Human Services.
